New cakes

Transformers, robots in disguise...

These cars cakes were for my friend's son whose room is completely cars theme. The first cake was for the immediate family and today she had a party which is what the larger cake and smash cake were for.

It's been so long

As a child, my parents had friends that would watch my siblings and I on different occasions. This cake is for one such friend. We have known the birthday girl since we were knee high to a grasshopper, so when her daughter asked me to make a cake to celebrate her day, I jumped on it. The mother is a very funny lady and she loves to dance, among other activities.

The color scheme was red, white, black, and silver. Music notes were requested by the daughter, and I decided a stick figure dancing would play to the mother's fun side. Even though the cake looks huge, it's only a 6"/8" tiered cake.

Red, Green, and White

I hate conforming to the "normal", but since I didn't have anything Christmas like made up normal would have to do. This cake was made so I could test a recipe I had written. I don't like to make cakes and not take the opportunity to decorate them. These colors just shouted at the top of their lungs CHRISTMAS.
